About Fre3dom – distributed manufacturing to promote self-sustaining communities
About Kidist: Born in 1983, in a small village called qufanziq in the eastern part of Ethiopia. She joined the Addis Ababa University, and graduated with a mathematics degree. She went to the African Institute for Mathematics, in Cap Town, South Africa. Now, she is a third year PhD student at the University of Houston, TX.
